RVNDM x MASKOFF: PARASITE – A symbiosis of Berlin grunge & dark streetwear
Collaboration: RVNDM x MASKOFF Apparel
The "PARASITE" collection is a visual exploration of mental health. In collaboration with MASKOFF Apparel, a series has been created that perceives depression not as part of one's identity, but as a parasitic disease that feeds off the host.
- Concept:Depression as an external parasite that drains energy and self-worth.
- Central Motif:The back print as a manifesto of inner emptiness:
"It is eating my energy / breathing my oxygen / and letting me feel like i’m worth nothing" - Quality:460gsm Super Heavy Cotton – heavy armor against the outside world.
- Finishing:Handcrafted acid-wash effects at 414 Studio Berlin, symbolizing the process of decomposition.
The aesthetic of the collection reflects the struggle. Organic, almost root-like prints stretch across the textiles, while the dark, washed-out color palette captures the feeling of isolation. It is not about romanticizing suffering, but about giving it a physical form. Through the massive fabric quality and artisanal processing in Berlin, each piece becomes a heavy, protective companion.
"PARASITE" is an invitation to dialogue. RVNDM and MASKOFF Apparel use the language of streetwear to break the silence surrounding mental illness – raw, authentic, and without compromises in design and manufacturing.
